Pridepay is more than a fintech platform - it is a community-driven financial ecosystem built around equality, visibility and belonging. We believe financial services should feel human: simple, respectful and inclusive. Pridepay is a UK-based financial app and card programme designed for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. We are currently in our launch stage, with features and subscription plans introduced progressively in line with operational and regulatory readiness. We combine secure electronic money services with community-focused impact. Pridepay is a trading name of Cardaq Limited, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 for the issuing of electronic money (FRN 900088).

Pridepay is being built with a broader mission to promote visibility, dignity and long-term economic inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ community. We aim to combine inclusive financial services with verified community recognition through Pride ID, helping to build a connected and values-driven ecosystem. Alongside product development, we already support LGBTQIA+ culture and community initiatives through partnerships, sponsorships and events, including collaborations with emerging artists and community-focused projects. We also organise networking and social experiences designed to bring people together and strengthen real-world community connections. As the Pridepay ecosystem grows, we plan to collaborate with LGBTQIA+-friendly businesses, including curated community spaces and future member offers. A portion of Pridepay’s profit is intended to support partnered LGBTQIA+ initiatives and long-term community development.

Pridepay is developing a tiered subscription structure as part of its phased launch. Plans are being designed to provide access to core electronic money services, payment functionality and selected community-related features. Final plan names, pricing and included services will be confirmed and published once fully finalised.

PrideID is a verification tool currently being developed as part of the Pridepay ecosystem. It is designed to enable verified community recognition within the platform and support access to selected features and partner initiatives. Further details, including eligibility and available benefits, will be published once finalised and introduced in line with operational and regulatory readiness.

Pridepay operates under UK regulatory requirements as a trademark of Cardaq Limited, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Customer funds are safeguarded in accordance with the Electronic Money Regulations 2011. We use secure onboarding and identity verification processes, multi-factor authentication and transaction monitoring to help protect against fraud and unauthorised activity. Personal data is handled in line with applicable UK data protection laws.

Pridepay is being designed with inclusivity in mind. Where operationally and legally permitted, users will be able to personalise certain profile details within the app. Identification and account verification requirements will remain subject to applicable regulatory standards.

Our first planned payment card is Peace, a debit card designed for everyday spending. We're also developing additional card options, with more features and benefits planned as the Pridepay ecosystem grows. Final card specifications, eligibility and availability will be confirmed ahead of launch.

Yes. Pridepay connects LGBTQIA+-friendly businesses with merchant payment solutions, including online payment processing. Merchant acquiring and onboarding services are provided by Cardaq Limited, subject to merchant assessment and approval. We also offer businesses opportunities to engage with the Pridepay community through partnerships, events and promotional initiatives.

Online merchants are required to complete onboarding and compliance checks in line with applicable UK regulatory standards. This includes business verification, identity checks and anti-money laundering (AML) screening. Approval is subject to risk assessment and operational readiness.
